Adriana Neves

Adriana started at an early age as a modern jazz dancer. After being accepted into a professional dance company in São Paulo, her hometown, she took dance lessons in various styles, such as classical ballet, contemporary, tap dance, and acting. As part of her cultural background, Samba, Forró, and Lambada were naturally learned in social clubs between friends.  After moving to Portugal in 1997 and having contact with other dancing styles, such as Salsa, Argentinian Tango and Ballroom dance, she finally met Kizomba, which became a passion over the different dance styles she had learned, taught and performed. Continuing her career as a dancer, dance teacher and choreographer, she moved to London in 2010. After working with various promoters, she co-created Kizomba Sundays in 2012 and has dedicated her career primarily to Kizomba events since then.
