Elvis & Namrata

Elvis and Namrata are the first Asians to win the Kizomba & Semba World Championship title at the Olympiads in Paris (2022). 

With over 10 years of teaching experience at RareGrooves Dance Academy, they've built thriving Kizomba Semba communities across India through their Raizes e Ritmo Intensive weekenders. The first phase of these intensive weekenders will be conducted in Kuala Lumpur in September 2026.

Elvis & Namrata are co-organisers of MASK - Mumbai Authentic Semba Kizomba Weekender, bringing artistes such as Tony & Carla, Adilson Maiza and Fabio to India in 2026. 

Elvis & Namrata are also the first Asian instructors to be invited by Angolans to teach in Angola, the birthplace of Kizomba Semba. They have trained extensively with renowned international artists such as Bonifacio, Adilson, Tony & Carla, Eddy Vents and more.
