Born in 1979 just outside Paris, I have always felt a deep connection to my city, where I still live today, and to my family. While I value my routines and the balance they bring, I also love to travel and explore the world.
I come from a diverse background: my mother is French, and my father is of Algerian and French descent. Growing up in a loving home, with two sisters, I was immersed in a world of music and arts, which has deeply shaped who I am. My mother and sisters are all artists—a comedian, singer, and musician—and this artistic influence was always present, even during the challenges of my teenage years. Music and dance became my refuge, helping me to carve out my own space and develop my identity.
I started dancing at a young age, first learning hip-hop, then Oriental dance, Flamenco, and eventually Cuban salsa. Though I didn't plan on having children so early, life had other plans. I met an extraordinary man who became the father of my two sons, and my family is at the heart of everything I do. Despite the demands of balancing motherhood, work, and study, music and dance have always been my constants.
Professionally, I worked for several years as a financial coordinator, eventually moving into roles as a tax specialist and manager. After years of corporate experience, I decided to follow my passion and transition into the events industry, where I’ve been thriving for the past six years as an Office Manager for various companies.
In 2005, my journey into Salsa began when I created the association Paz Amor Y Salsa and organized unforgettable events in Paris. The events became known for their lively energy and unique vibe. In 2012, I discovered Kizomba at a Salsa party, and it marked the beginning of my deep love for this vibrant culture. After a year of traveling and immersing myself in the music and dance, I decided to bring this new passion to Paris by organizing my first Kizomba party, Loucura(meaning "crazy"), in February 2015. The event was a success and even featured a historic concert with Eduardo Paim, marking his first-ever performance in Paris.
Following this, I had the pleasure of organizing regular Kizomba parties with DJ Chad, which eventually led to the creation of Back 2 Basic Kizomba, a celebrated event in the Parisian scene. The journey has been full of incredible moments, and I continue to bring people together through the music and dance that have always been my heart's passion.
