Ana was born in Santiago, the main island and capital of Cape Verde. At the age of one, she moved with her family to Paris, France, where she completed most of her education. Growing up surrounded by Cape Verdean relatives, she was immersed in the culture, food, and music.
Despite having strict parents, she secretly practiced music with her aunts and developed a deep love for it.
In 2003, Ana moved to the UK to study, seeking a connection to her cherished memories and emotions from Cape Verde. About 15 years ago, as Kizomba gained popularity, she found a community where she could share these moments with others who had similar interests and a place where she could relax and enjoy herself.
