Carlos Camba

Carlos, originally from Angola, has been based in Finland for the past 14 years. He began teaching locally in Finland in 2014 and, since 2017, has shared his passion for Kizomba with students around the world at festivals and workshops.

Carlos is the founder and organizer of the Kudissanga Trip and Kudissanga Festival, bringing people together through dance and cultural experiences. He has organized 10 trips to Angola for Kizomba enthusiasts since 2016, offering unique opportunities to explore the roots of the dance. The Kudissanga Festival has had successful editions in both Finland and Angola, with a planned second edition in Finland interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to his teaching and organizing work, Carlos owns and runs the Helsinki Kizomba Studio, where he holds weekly classes.

Anna Mariaz

Anna began her Kizomba journey in 2017 and has been dancing and teaching alongside Carlos since 2018. Together, they organize the Kudissanga Trip and Kudissanga Festival, continuing their mission to spread the joy of Kizomba globally.

Anna is also a co-owner of the Helsinki Kizomba Studio, where she teaches alongside Carlos in their weekly classes.
