Frans and Sarah, from Kizombalove, are a dynamic and talented Kizomba duo with deep cultural roots and a rich heritage. Sarah, with origins in Portugal and Congo, is widely regarded as one of the best Kizomba & Semba dancers in the world. Frans brings a diverse background, hailing from Congo, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Portugal, with Angolan blood running through his veins. His grandparents migrated from Angola to Congo.
Their dance journey took off in 2008 at Belgium's prestigious Kizombalove Academy, where they trained under the José N'dongala Kizombalove Methodology. Frans specialised in Semba, while Sarah perfected her Ginga. Both have since become not only expert dancers, but also trainers of future Kizomba instructors.
In 2014, they took on the privilege of managing the academy, granted by their master José N'dongala, and have been sharing their passion for dance across the globe. Known for their spectacular choreography and professional videos, Frans and Sarah's performances are celebrated in the biggest Kizomba festivals worldwide, from Europe to Australia and beyond. Balancing their roles as teachers, choreographers, and proud parents of three children, Frans and Sarah have made an indelible mark on the global Kizomba community.
