Yazza was captivated by Kizomba dance and music from the moment she stepped into her first class, and was initially drawn to its vibrant energy, and later enchanted by its rich history and culture. After several years of attending classes, travelling to festivals, and gaining an understanding of the music and dance, she began teaching in Spain in 2019, and has continued to teach classes and workshops in both Spain and London. A lover of all things Kizomba, her overall aim is to bring people together and create community through a shared passion for music and dance. Her most recent venture, Project Switch, aims to flip the script when it comes to Kizomba dancing, turning traditional dance roles on their head, and teaching students to lead, follow, and switch!
