Born in 1987, Adel was exposed to multiple cultures from a young age. Both his parents are from Mozambique and their ancestors were from Saudi Arabia and India.
With the constant traveling from country to country on business, his parents instilled a sense of Nomadism in Adel, which he takes with him to this day. One of the main cultural aspects Adel came into contact with is Kizomba. He first heard this magical music sitting in the back of his brother's car as they drove around town in Maputo (the capital of Mozambique). Since then, Kizomba has been his primary musical preference.
Adel's true love for Kizomba manifested itself when he rediscovered it in the UK in 2015, which is when he started dancing - taking 3 classes per week, plus weekend parties and festivals. Since then, he has come to embrace it as a lifestyle, listening and dancing to cleanse his soul!
Adel wishes to share his passion with anyone who wants to truly learn about it, so much so that he's getting more involved in events and activities that promote Kizomba!
